Developing and improving your practice premises and occupational arrangements (NEWCASTLE)
09th September 2015
Join us at this interactive forum on Wednesday 9th September to discuss the opportunities around developing your practice premises with leading experts and your peers.
Have you ever considered improving your practice premise or occupational arrangements to:
- expand services and develop your practice?
- accommodate more patients?
- increase practice income?
- comply with CQC requirements?
- facilitate a practice merger?
- recruit, train and retain GPs?
- help with partnership and succession planning and premises liability issues?
- meet the challenges of the NHS Five Year Forward View?
- meet the premises criteria stipulated in any tenders you bid for?
- borrow to fund the works to your premises?
With £1bn of funding available for primary care infrastructure, there is no better time to explore the possibilities and review your premises needs. It is widely anticipated that the 2nd wave of bid applications will be announced and invited in September.
The session, led by Ward Hadaway’s property experts who recently won ‘Property Team of the Year’ at the Northern Law Awards, along with guest speaker Sam Oldfield of GPI Corporation Ltd, will explain the opportunities for funding and what you need to do to access this funding.
The workshop will also outline the legal considerations when undertaking premises developments, as well as highlighting the legal considerations on various ways of holding your premises. Along with short presentations, there will be a fully interactive Q&A session.
Our guest speaker, Sam Oldfield, hails from GPI Corporation Ltd which is one of the UK’s largest investors in Primary Care, with 20 years’ experience and dealings with 180 medical centre developments. GPI Corporation offer to write your practice’s project initiation document free of charge and with no obligation.
