Cyber Liability – are you protected? (NEWCASTLE)
19th October 2017
Cybercrime and extortion are increasing threats to businesses of all sizes as seen during May’s WannaCry Ransomware attack. This can lead not only to financial loss and a breach of data but also lost productivity and reputational damage. As the threat of cybercrime and extortion continues to evolve, the need to protect your business is of paramount importance.
Join us at our free breakfast briefing in Newcastle on Thursday 19th October, hosted jointly with insurers Arthur J. Gallagher, where we will focus on how you can protect your business as well as understanding more about the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We will take part in a ‘live’ hack of a website and a discussion of how criminals can make money from your website. As well as hearing from Ward Hadaway’s legal experts on GDPR, we will be also hear from experts at AJ Gallagher about the options for protecting your organisation.
Who should attend?
Aimed at senior management and in-house counsel, this seminar will make you aware of the impacts a cyber threat could have on your own business and how to protect yourself.
We expect significant uptake for this event and are therefore limiting places to two per organisation.
