Culture & engagement: getting the best from your people in times of growth (CARLISLE)
21st March 2017
We are delighted to invite you to this free invite-only discussion at Story Homes HQ in Carlisle, which we are running in conjunction with Nigel Wright Recruitment.
Employee engagement remains a hot topic – an engaged workforce is happier and more productive. In order to keep employees engaged, you must first have the right culture – and change is a threat to any culture. How then, can employees be fully engaged and the business culture be successfully embedded during periods of rapid growth?
Story Homes’ HR & OD Director, Fran Stott, will lead this interactive discussion on how to keep your staff engaged whilst growing your business. Fran will give us an insightful case study on what the firm has successfully undertaken to keep the workforce engaged and to get the most from its staff.
Story Homes was established by Fred Story in 1987 with just three staff. Since then, the family-owned business has grown in both size and status and now includes more than 500 staff based across three offices. Fran will talk about Story’s rapid growth, share some of the key highlights and challenges of its journey so far and relate the fundamental employee engagement lessons that they will be taking forward on the next leg of their journey.
This session is aimed at senior leaders responsible for the human resources function of their business.
