Helen O'Neill | Associate, Property

Helen joined Ward Hadaway in 2007 from Eversheds with whom she trained and spent four years post-qualification based in the property development team.

Helen primarily acts for national and regional housebuilders, commercial developers, and local authorities dealing with complicated site acquisitions and disposals relating to residential, commercial and mixed-use sites.

She has experience in conditional contracts, options and development agreements, has dealt with regeneration projects and adoption and infrastructure agreements.

Helen has acted for both developers and public sector bodies on development and regeneration schemes.

Helen also has expertise with affordable housing issues, sales to and by Housing Associations, funding arrangements, development of care homes and community facilities, shared ownership properties, acquisition and sale of current and former right to buy / right to acquire properties and the social homebuy scheme.
