David Brocklehurst | Associate, Chartered Town Planner, Planning

David was elected to full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute in October 2001.

He joined the firm in September 2000 having previously worked for a national housebuilder.

David's experience includes preparing and processing planning applications principally in relation to residential, commercial and leisure development; including the preparation and presentation of supporting statements for all forms of development and the project management of sub-consultants.

David is experienced in the preparation and submission of Section 78 planning appeals including appearing at hearings and assisting at public inquiries.

He is experienced in the preparation of proofs of evidence for Inquiries and planning enforcement appeals.

He has undertaken site identification and appraisal, prepared and assessed Housing Land Availability and the promotion of sites through the Development Plan System for landowners and national and regional house builders.

David worked in the land team at Wimpey Homes Yorkshire and within the multi-disciplinary development team at WSP and has extensive expertise in housing development particularly in land assessment and has worked closely with other professionals with expertise in architecture, surveying and transportation.
