Andrea joined Ward Hadaway in April 2007 from Eversheds LLP where she trained and spent five years post qualification based solely in the Public Sector Property Regeneration Team.

There, she acted for Local Authorities, National Health Service Trusts, One NorthEast and English Partnerships on regeneration schemes.

Andrea has acted on the sale and purchase of significant sites for regeneration and residential development for Middlesbrough Council, English Partnerships, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, One NorthEast and County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust.

Andrea also has a large amount of experience in the property aspects of acquiring and relocating businesses through negotiated compensation agreements prior to the making of compulsory purchase orders and was heavily involved in the Middlehaven site assembly. She also specialises in the sale of properties by auction.

In addition to this, Andrea has significant experience of funding agreements having completed gap funding agreements for One NorthEast in relation to major regeneration sites such as Digital City and the BoHo Zone in Middlesbrough.

Andrea is also currently advising local authorities on several key funding agreements.
