Lucy Cleghorn | Assistant Solicitor, Commercial Litigation

Lucy qualified as a solicitor in September 2008 having spent a year of her training contract in the Commercial Litigation team.

She has been involved in a range of commercial litigation matters, largely focussing on professional negligence and contractual disputes.

Lucy’s experience includes assisting in:

• A complex claim pursuant to a deed of indemnity in a sale and purchase agreement
• A high profile contractual claim including preparation of evidence, drafting of witness statements and collation of substantial documentation
• A breach of contract/negligence claim against a firm of consultant design engineers
• Achieving favourable settlement terms for a private individual in respect of a professional negligence claim against former solicitors
• A professional negligence claim for a large institutional client against a former solicitor
