Peter Allan | Consultant, Corporate Finance

Peter has advised on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance issues for more than 30 years.

A former senior law lecturer at Durham University and Law Society Examiner, he has held many posts outside Ward Hadaway which give him an invaluable insight into the works of non-departmental public bodies or similar and their requirements.

Peter was previously chairman of Business Link Tyne & Wear, Northern Business Forum, IOD North Eastern Region, Princes Trust Business and NEIC. He is a board member of Northumbria University, Romag Holdings plc and The Alchemists (Northern) Limited as well as being a Trustee of several charities.

Peter has significant national and international experience in mergers and acquisition, fundraising, joint ventures and corporate including Stock Exchange and takeover work.

During his career, he has worked on transactions worth several hundreds of millions of pounds.
