Our Training Contract
Ward Hadaway offers a stimulating and rewarding environment to graduates via our training contract.
If you feel you would like a more detailed insight into the firm before you apply, we operate one-week vacation placements every summer which provide a real flavour of life at Ward Hadaway via a structured programme of work experience. The training contract itself begins with a two-week induction to introduce you to the firm, your fellow trainees, and our systems and processes so that you are comfortable when you begin your first placement - or ’seat’ - within Ward Hadaway.
During your contract with us you will have the opportunity to complete four 6-month seats within four of our five departments: Corporate, Commercial, Property, Litigation and Private Client. Your seat choices are extremely important and we discuss seat allocation with you, taking into account your ambitions and interests as well as the needs of the business.
Your role within each department could involve drafting documents and letters, attending client meetings, running your own files, contacting clients and a range of other activities. To find out more about trainee life at Ward Hadaway, click here.
