Creative industries expert joins the team at Ward Hadaway | 18 March 09

LAW firm Ward Hadaway has further strengthened its Leeds office with the appointment of intellectual property and IT lawyer Laura Harper.

Making her mark – intellectual property and IT specialist Laura Harper with Andrew Hoyle, lead partner at Ward Hadaway Leeds.

Laura joins the firm as an associate, having previously worked at Cobbetts.

She has more than seven years’ specialist experience in intellectual property and IT issues and has worked with a number of leading organisations in the private and public sectors.

Laura has particular expertise in advising businesses in the creative sector, having worked with companies including advertising and design agencies, electronics and technology firms and international artists, including acclaimed North artist Mackenzie Thorpe.

She has experience advising on a wide range of issues including sponsorship agreements, branding issues and disputes, trade marks and publishing agreements.
