Ward Hadaway are delighted to be hosting the annual WH In-House Contract Law update on Thursday 7th September - 8.00am - 12.30pm at the Riverside Terrace, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art

Following the popularity of previous events in both our Newcastle and Leeds offices, Professor Ewan McKendrick will again be joining us to deliver the seminar.

Professor McKendrick is Registrar of the University of Oxford, Professor of English Private Law and editor of Chitty on Contracts. The seminar is designed for in-house lawyers and will provide an update on recently decided cases relating to topics such as:

  • Formation of Contracts
  • Interpretations of Contracts
  • Implied Terms
  • Termination
  • Vitiating Factors
  • Damages
  • Exclusion, Limitation and Indemnity Clauses

Professor McKendrick will discuss in detail how and why these cases are important and so the seminar will be of interest to all in-house lawyers that advise on contract law matters on a regular basis.
